Scope

This bulletin applies only to MMU-1600G and MMU2-1600G with or without the Ethernet port. (E option).

Issue

Red Fail Fault was not properly identified in Type 12 cabinets with FYA Enabled on Non-FYA Channels.


Root Cause

In a Type 12 cabinet a Red Fail Fault was not indicated on Non-FYA channels when all the voltages of the channel were below their OFF Threshold.


Operational

If a channel met all the conditions in the root cause the MMU will continue to operate normally and will not go into fault.


Corrective Action

Upgrade to Firmware version 02.00.05 or greater.
