Technical Bulletin [2026] TB-090101: CMU-212/CMUip-212 Monitors End-of-Sale (EOS) Notice

Scope

End-of-Sale Notification for the CMU-212 and CMUip-212 Monitors.

Issue

This notice is to inform all customers of the discontinuation of the CMU-212 and CMUip-212 Conflict Monitor Units.

Identification

The following models are being discontinued and will no longer be available for purchase:

• CMU-212: Conflict Monitor Unit for ITS Cabinet Standard (legacy)
• CMUip-212: Conflict Monitor Unit for ITS Cabinet Standard with Ethernet (legacy)

Operational

The CMU-212 and CMUip-212 were designed to operate within the ITS cabinet standard, which has since been superseded by the ATC standard. As the industry has broadly migrated to the newer ATC cabinet architecture, demand for the legacy platform has declined and EDI is consolidating its product line accordingly.

These monitors will no longer be manufactured or stocked after December 4th, 2026. Remaining inventory will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until supply is exhausted.

Corrective Action

We recommend transitioning to the following current monitor model, which is purpose-built for the ATC 5301 v02.02 cabinet standard and offers expanded capability:

• CMUip-2212: ATC 5301 v02.02 Conflict Monitor Unit with Ethernet – direct replacement for agencies migrating to the current ITS cabinet standard. Provides enhanced network integration, improved diagnostics, and full ATC compliance.
