How To Set Up Flashing Yellow Arrow Mode B On The MMU2-16LE For An ATSI Test
    
        
        
 - When dialog box appears on PC “insert the program card for FYA EDI MODE B”
 
 - Remove blank MMU card from MMU under test and insert FYA Mode B card programmed for 8 phase flashing yellow arrow
 
 - Select OK on PC
 
 - When the dialog box appears on the PC the MMU powers up and needs to be set up for the FYA portion of testing
 
 - Select copy from program card
 
 - Push next and then select “menu”
 
 - Use next to get cursor to “set/view config” and select
 
 - Use next to get to “Flashing Yellow Arrow” (near end of list) and select
 
 - Select FYA MODE B
 
 - Enable ChPair mode A 
  
   - ch 1-13=on
 
   - ch 3-14=on
 
   - ch 5-15=on
 
   - ch 7-16=on
 
  
 
 - Push exit
 
 - Enable RY Inp Mode B 
  
   - Ch 1 R&Y input=off
 
   - Ch 3 R&Y input=off
 
   - Ch 5 R&Y input=off
 
   - Ch 7 R&Y input=off
 
  
 
 - Push Exit
 
 - Flashrate fault=on
 
 - FYA trap detect=on
 
 - Select exit Hit Set and select
 
 - Use next to get to “set-up wizard” and select
 
 - Hit next to begin wizard
 
 - Select unused channels (none for testing purposes) hit exit
 
 - Select next
 
 - Are ped don’t walk signals monitored? Select yes
 
 - Use next to select channel and select to set monitoring (ch 9-12 set for ped monitoring)
 
 - Hit exit
 
 - Select next
 
 - Select prot-perm turns (none for testing purposes)
 
 - Hit exit
 
 - Select next
 
 - Review assignments
 
 - Hit exit
 
 - Select set
 
 - Should see new perams set for : dual ind ,red fail, MYRC, & field check
 
 - Hit exit three times
 
 - Select OK on PC
 
 - Test should complete with failure count =0
 
 - Save PDF version of MMU certification report to file of choice on PC (make sure and note of the testing year in file heading)
 
 - Attach MMU2 paper report to MMU (best to fold into quarters and tape to top of MMU)
