How to reset the network settings on the 2010ECLip, 2018ECLip and 2018KCLip monitor

On the Caltrans monitor units there is a network resetheader that will reset the unit back to the factory default. The factory default network settings are: IP Address = 192.168.1.100 and Subnet Mask =255.255.255.0 9.5.1

To perform this feature, you need to find the header pins. (see picture below)

On the lower left side of the unit you will see a 2 pin header

(Red Circle on the 2 types of board) Connect these two pins together and plug the unit into a cabinet (or energize the monitor) and turn on the power to the unit.

Once the unit is powered on, the Yellow and Green LED on the network connection should flash on and off simultaneously. This will let you know that the network circuit has been reset to factory settings.

If you have a DIGI network board, you will not be able to reset the unit. If you RMA the unit, EDI can update the network board.
