Scope

FL-200 and FL-200-E  LED flasher indicator defect notice.

Issue

It has come to our attention that the most recent production lot MFG-DC:2420 has a defect in the front panel LED indicators. This affects only products within this production lot. 

Identification

This is to explain the option for replacement of the FL-200 and FL-200-E  LED flasher with the indicator Defect MFG-DC:2420 .

Operational

The units have been 100% tested for flashing operation, and this is not a safety issue. However, when the unit is not operating in flashing mode, the front panel LEDs do not properly illuminate, which may create a challenge in determining the functional state of the unit. 

Corrective Action

We recommend that any units in inventory be replaced, or any units already deployed in the field be replaced during your next regularly scheduled maintenance visit with properly working units. We will replace these units free of charge with the same properly functioning products.
