How To Change The IP Address On A Reno MMU2-1600GE Using The Front Panel

First, to see the existing IP address push and hold the reset button until you hear two beeps.  The display will flash the IP address. Alternatively, go to the home screen. (see below)

To change the IP address from the front panel, start at the main screen and push the Enter key.

  1. From this main menu select “identification information”
  2. Move down to “Ethernet settings” and hit enter.
  3. Here put in your new IP address and Gateway IP.

  1. Before you power down the unit you must change some other parameter for the monitor to accept the new IP address.
  2. We recommend that you turn off or on the Beep indication to make the IP change.  Escape back to the main menu and move your cursor down to “configuration setups” hit enter.
  3. You are now on the CONFIGURATION menu screen “fault monitoring settings” hit enter.
  4. From the FAULT MONITORING menu move cursor to ”Start Changes” hit enter and answer YES to the question “TO START CHANGES”.
  5. Move cursor to “settings” hit enter.
  6. From the CONFIG SETTING menu move two “other” hit enter.

  1. From this screen move down to “Disable Buzzer” and turn Yes or No on. (the opposite of what it is now) hit enter to toggle YES and NO.  Hit the escape two except your selection and the monitor will go back to the previous screen.
  2. Hit escape key until you get back to the FAULT MONITORING menu.  Move cursor down to save changes and hit enter, say yes to save configuration and you have successfully changed the IP address.  You can now turn off and on the power, the without losing the new IP.
