If an MMU-16LE(ip) is returned to EDI for Repair or Monitor Recertification, will it automatically be updated to the latest MMU2-16LE(ip) firmware?

Yes. The MMU-16LE(ip) will be changed to the MMU2-16LE(ip) firmware.
