2010ECL FAQs

How is the clock updated?

In a 332 cabinet without standardized monitor communications to the CU, the monitor clock is not updated. It depends on your techs setting the time when it is installed. You should check it at your planned maintenance (PM).

How to set the time?

If you use ECcom to check the time and you can also set it from here. We you set it from the ECcom software it uses the time from the PC clock.

Can it be set to be updated automatically (or tied to an NTP server like our controllers)?

Yes, the 2010ECLip can be linked to an NTP server. See section 4.5 of the attached manual. This is the best way if your network has the capability to provide a Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) service.

Who is the Flash Rate Fault shown on the 2010?

When the 2010ECLip detects a Conflict fault, the display turns on the Conflict LED and turns on the affected Green channel displays, but solid On. When the 2010ECLip detects a Flash Rate Failure, the display turns on the Conflict LED and then flashes the affected Green channel displays (3 & 7). In both cases the Conflict LED is On, the difference between a Conflict and Flash Rate Fail is whether the Green channel indicators are flashing or solid. Note also that 3 and 7 are compatible so a Conflict fault would be a real surprise. Ugh, it is an LED based display so we have to get “clever” for some of these cases.

How do you setup the 2010ECL to test on an ATSI 8000 tester?
