EDI-210 Monitors End-of-Sale (EOS) Notice

Scope

This bulletin applies to any customer that uses an EDI-210 monitor.

Issue

This notice is to inform all customers of the discontinuation of the following EDI-210 Monitors.

Identification

The following models are being discontinued and will no longer be available for purchase:

• EDI-210: 170 Caltrans Standard Monitor
• EDI-210C: 170 Standard Monitor
• EDI-210C-OR: 210C Monitor Oregon
• EDI-210C-SF: 210C Monitor for San Francisco
• EDI-210C-EUG: 210 Monitor for Eugene, OR
• EDI-210NYR: 170 Monitor w/EIA232 & Logging, State of NY
• EDI-210NYRIP: 210 Monitor for NY State

Operational

These monitors have served a range of agency-specific applications over the years. Still, as part of our continued commitment to performance and innovation, these legacy models are being phased out.

Corrective Action

We recommend transitioning to one of the following current monitor models that offer enhanced capability and network features:

• EDI 20120ECLip: Caltrans 170/2070 Standard Monitor with Ethernet port
• EDI 2018KCLip: Caltrans 18-Channel 2070 Type Monitor with Data Key and Ethernet port
